is CSI needed?

Post by Morbeous » Fri Oct 07, 2022 6:42 pm

I am a British citizen and I returned to the UK with my non EU wife via the Surinder Singh route in 2020 and she was granted pre-settled status early 2021. My question is as we save all the documents required for when we apply for Settled status will she still need to have CSI? From what i have heard she will no longer need this. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?

CSI is no longer needed after you get a grant of status under EUSS (applies to your wie too as she has pre-settled status). See here https://the3million.org.uk/node/1100851263
