Eligibility for ILR

Post by Richa05 » Wed Oct 18, 2023 12:51 pm

Hi,

My ex-husband and me came to the UK in July 2017. I was on this ICT Tier-2 dependent visa. Then in August 2019, I got my General Tier-2 visa with a 5-years validity. I am at the risk of redundancy, so I wanted to check that if I am eligible for applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain, though I know that the first 2 years shouldn’t be counted but still want to understand if there is a way?

Thanks,
Richa

The ict dependent time doesn't count for ilr.

You need 5 years on your current visa and you must be employed and required for the forseeable future (must be stated in a letter) by your sponsor to qualify for ilr
Char (CR001 not Casa)

It appears there is no other way besides your seeking and landing a Sponsorship vis skilled worker visa.
