Emergency Travel While VISA Renewal Under Process

Hi Everyone,

I applied for my VISA renewal on 18th August 2024. However, my dad is in a critical situation and I need to travel to India and I haven't received any news from UKVI.

I have sent them an email this morning that I need to travel to India urgently. Is there any alternative solution for my problem i.e.Any certificate from the Indian Embassy?

Normally you cannot travel outside the CTA when having a pending immigration application, otherwise it will be considered withdrawn - and will lose the fees paid.

A foreign embassy has no influence on the immigration rules or UKVI decisions.
