Hi all,
If this isn't the correct section I apologies but I couldn't find anything on the subject, neither here or online. I just need an advice or assurance about something.
I'm Italian with British citizenship too, and this was the first time I went back home since Brexit fully happened. I've been told multiple times, and in airport too, that when I travel to my birth country I have to use my birth country passport, in this instance the Italian one. And do the same when leaving the country. That's what I did, but now I'm panicking that I'm going to have problems entering the UK with that document, bear in mind that I have my British passport with me too.
Said that I have already done the test to travel from Italy with the Italian passport code on it and I can't do a new one as I depart tomorrow morning early and booked the test 2 in UK with the same passport. I still have to finish to fill the passenger locator form and still to do the check in. All this panicking came to my mind while filling the PLF.
Am I panicking for nothing? Should I go on with the Italian passport and show the British one as well at the UK border and everything will be fine? There are no details whatsoever anywhere about what to do now with dual passports in EU travel.
TIA for a reply.
