last minute french visa UK spouse

Hello all,

My wife (indian on FLRm) and I decided to book a last minute trip to paris over the easter weekend. I thought the visa application would be straight forward as we went swuitzerland last year and she just went to the embassy and got her schengen visa in 2 days but I just did went to apply on TLScontact website and the next available date in on the 4th April?!! I tried looking on the French Embassy website to see if we can apply in person but there are no details anywhere. I was under the impression that being spouse of a UK citizen, she would be given preference for schengen visa. Is there any ways for her to get schengen visa before 30th March?
