Family visit visa help please

Hi

I have applied for my mother, sister and Her daughter to come to the uk from Iraq Kurdistan for a family visit visa.

We have been through the process and today I received an email from Amman embassy in Jordan saying that the application has been processed and a decision made. They then say the passport and documents will be returned to the uk visa application centre (erbil, Iraq) and they will update the teleperformance website when ready to collect from there.

The thing is they have not said what the decision is?!?!?
The Amman embassy and the home office In uk both phoned me when they got the applications as I am the sponsor and I just confirmed all the details on form with them.

can someone tell me how do I know what is he decision? Do I have to wait until the Jordan embassy posts everything back to Iraq and my sister collects? I am so inpatient to know if they have been granted or not. If it's a refusal how will I know the reasons they refused?

UKVI never email applicants on the outcome of an application. They will have to wait until they collect their documents to know what the decision is.

You will have to wait until they collect their documents unfortunately. If it is a refusal, they will get a letter with the reasons the visa(s) were refused.

I am new to this and my first time applying so I didn't realise that we won't know the decision until they collect passport and documents.

I am concerned now after reading on here that an email from embassy saying application has now need processed means refused?

No it does not mean it is refused or that it is approved. People interpret things wrongly sometimes. It is a standard email from UKVI.

Thanks I also thought it was standard but I read a thread saying some peoples said processed used means refusal

I will just wait and see and keep fingers crossed!

Hopefully will arrive back In erbil tomorrow or Tuesday!

I will update here the outcome in case anyone else has similar questions
