Family Visit Visa

Post by dineshsethiya » Mon May 18, 2015 10:57 pm

Hello Friends,

I'm applying for family visit visa for my parents. I'm on Tier-1 General visa since 2009 and going to get my ILR in July 2015.
I want to invite my parents sometime in June and hence going to apply family visa for them now. I'm filling the online form and at one place under "Part-5 FAMILY IN THE UK", there one question regarding STATUS IN THE UK and there are 4 options :

1) BRITISH CITIZEN,
2) EEN CITIZEN,
3) TEMPORARY RESIDENT AND
4) PERMANENT RESIDENT

I would like to know do I need to choose option 3) or option 4), considering I'm on Tier-1 General visa since 2009 and going to apply ILR in July'2015. Please guide me.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
Dinesh

It is option 3. You don't have ILR yet so are not a permanent resident.
