FLR(M): documentation questions

Post by loppermoon » Sun Aug 30, 2020 9:32 am

Spouse extension, HK applying within UK.

We submitted our first spouse visa extension on the 24th and have a few last minute questions regarding documentation:

1. Financial: we're using category D cash savings. We've a headed cover letter from xxxxx by xxxxxxxxxx "Thank you for getting in touch to let us know you need proof of savings for the Home Office UK Visas and Immigration Office.". This is dated 18th Aug and covers "a list of transactions for the past 6 months". The transaction history is a table including "date" and "value date". The dates are: 02/03, 30/03, 30/04, 01/06, 30/06, 30/07. The value dates are: 29/02, 30/03, 30/04, 30/05, 30/06, 30/07. The balance is always above £62500. Will this date range be sufficient for the "balance held throughout the period of 6 months prior to the date of application" requirement?

2. Financial: with regards to "a declaration by the account holder(s)of the source(s) of the cash saving", would a letter with the following be sufficient: "The source of these funds are from regular savings over time from employment income and interest."?

3. Consent: with regards to the family consent form, the applicant has signed part 1 and since some of our docs are in joint names, the partner has signed part 2 and part 3. Is this correct? We were confused about whether the application should also sign part 3.

Thanks!

We were confused about whether the application should also sign part 3. If you are using any 3rd Party support to meet requirement then sign it if not, no (though HO does not allow 3rd party support)

Thanks!

Don't add plenty of dates unnecessarily rather give two dates only (start & end) e.g 18th Feb - 18th Aug.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Yes and still they can do necessary amendments if haven't hit the "submitted" button.
