FLR FP Extension Grace Period

I have two questions regarding the extension of the FLR FP 10-year parent route:

1. How many days do we get under the grace period?

2. Is the grace period inclusive to satisfy the requirements of section 3c?

1. You have 14 days but this should only be used in exceptional circumstances.

2. No, if you make an out of time application after your visa expired, you have no Section 3C protection.
