FLR-M Post submission Nervous breakdown - Help please

Post by pharaohalexx » Wed Feb 24, 2021 6:55 pm

Hi all,

I am new here and need some help albeit late as i already submitted last week. But the thing is that i wake up fearing that i may have missed something in my submissions even though i know that i ticked all boxes regarding the checklist provided by UKVI. It is just difficult to be calm when waiting for approval as i had always preferred super priority.

Please i had like you guys to run through all i submitted to let me know if i indeed got things right.

-I and my wife’s passport
-My BRP
-The consent letters signed by me, my wife and her mom (because of her name on the lease and she also provided a letter acknowledging that she has no involvement in our house).
-Spousal declaration of support.

Finances (This is from me only)
-Letter from HR showing my permanent employment, started work since 2019 and earn over 24k salary from Sept 2020 and that the payslip i am using is authentic.
-My new contract letter for promotion from Sept 2020
-All 6 payslips from August 2020 -Jan 2021
- Stamped Bank statement showing all my income from June 2020 to Jan 2021 (just found out that my street name had a wrong alphabet after it and i have never noticed since i changed address years ago. In my worrying state, i noticed it and i do not know if this is an issue. The house number, house name and post code are all same.Wont even notice the extra e added after the street name but i am now worried about it since i have been scrutinizing everything i submitted).

Other finances
-another bank’S stamped statement to show my flexible self employed role income which i just included even though my main job meets criteria . Added it to show that i wont resort to public funds.
-my 2 savings accounts.
-My stock holdings statement

English
-My MSc certificate, transcripts and a Uni letter from a UK university.
-My professional qualifications certificate (just as extra)

Relationship
- My marriage certificate
-My son’s birth certificate and one NHS letter from April 2020
- Pictures of me, my wife, our son from when we got married to my son’s recent 1st birthday in January 2021. Some pics has my wife’s mom in it and my siblings.

Accommodations and cohabitation

-tenancy agreement (in my name and mom-in-laws name)
-Council tax in my name for 2020/2021
-Joint council tax bill (May 2018 from our previous property)
-Joint ecotricity bill for dec 2018 (previous property)
-Joint ecotricity for May 2019 (previous property)
-Joint water bill (October 2019 for current property)
-Joint water bill feb 2020 (covering nov 2019 to feb 2020 in our current property)
-Joint Bulb bill (Jan 2021 for current property )
-Wife’S NHS letter Dec 2020 (current property )
-Wife’s Switch electricity bill (Oct 2018 for previous property )
- wife’s Sky bill (Jan 2019 previous property )
-Wife HTB bank letter (Aug 2019 for previous property)
-Wife Tv license bill (Jan 2021 for current property)
-My electoral roll letter (May 2018 previous property)
-My Eon Bill (oct 2019 current property)
-My Key worker letter Dec 2020
my Virgin Bill Jan 2021
- My bills bank statement in only my name with cover letter as the bank does not stamp ( from June 2020 - jan 2021 and shows all the rent going out and other bills and my wife’s monthly contribution into the account).

Extras
Charity commission organisation page showing me as a current Trustee for a charity
Governors certificate and appointment email showing me as a current Governor of a secondary school.

I know it seems a lot but i think i was very worried that i need to airtight my applications and to avoid any separation from my wife and barely a year old son. Also read that it is better to submit more documents than less of it.

Please what do you all think and thanks in advance.

You've submitted far too many unnecessary documents. So many actually that the key mandatory documents could be completely missed.

You are only required to submit the documents ukvi state are needed. It is not up to you to decide what is important or not. You have completely overthought this whole process.

1. You should not have submitted anything regarding self employment income. The rules are clear about the extensive evidence needed as self employed.

2. Your payslips duration just match the bank statements. You have stated Aug to Jan for payslips, this is not 6 months. You have stated June to Jan bank statements.

3. Savings account and stock account is irrelevant if you meet the financial requirment with your salary.

4. Pictures of any kind are NOT required!!

5. Cohabitation documents are only needed for the last 2 years and must be from 3 to 6 different sources, spread evenly for every 3 to 4 months. You have submitted a lot documents, too many.

6. Charity commission and governors certificate is cpletely irrelevant.

Hi CR001,

Thanks for your response and i must admit that i did submit quite a lot. Do you think that is an issue even though i tried to label them correctly.

1. and 3. I included this as they asked if i had any other income that i want to use as a consideration of my application and i figured i might as well send it all in for them to understand my finances and that i wont resort to public funds - i also wrote that i know i meet the requirement with my salaried income alone but this is just an extra to show that i can take care of my family without recourse to public funds. Furthermore, they only asked for the bank statement showing that the extra income comes into my account only.

2. I am paid on the 18th of every month and therefore had all the 6 months payslip from August to Jan 2021 or what do you mean please. The bank statement matches that and i tried to highlight it for ease.

3. Didn't realize this as other blogs i came across said they included theirs to show relationship activities.
5. Yeah i agree that i submitted to many in this regards but do you think that's an issue.
6. In hindsight i should not have but i just wanted to prove my commitment to the UK.

DO you think i have caused massive damage to my application and will impact decision in any way please.

Thanks in advance.
