FLR M vs SET M

Post by shibansayed » Mon May 13, 2019 5:10 pm

Hi,

I have recently applied for ILR after completing 5 years in the UK. 2014 till 2019.

My spouse applied as a PBS dependent in 2017, her visa is valid till June 2019. As I will be receiving my ILR visa in next 10 days, need to plan my spouse's visa extension. Looking to resolve the queries below,

1. Which form needs to filled out for her visa extension? FLR M or SET M

2. She was not required to take the English language test in 2017, Is she required to take the English language test for this extension? If yes, will that be A2 or A1 level?

3. Is she also required to take a Tuberculosis test? She took this test in 2017, as she is in the UK since last 2 years, is this required again?

Any advice would be really helpful.

Thank you.

1. She can continue to extend her PBS dependent visa. There is no need to change to flr m. She doesn't qualify for ILR on Set M either.

2. Not required for PBS dependent extensions.

3. No.
