FLR(M) spouse extension - question about a couple questions!

Post by kastraver » Wed Sep 25, 2019 3:32 pm

Many thanks in advance for any help on this!

I'm on the brink of finalising my online application for the FLR(M) spouse extension, but I'm just stuck on a couple of the last questions in the form! These probably don't trip anyone else up, but I'm just so confused by the sort of technicalities of them...

When did the current employment begin? This is prelimmed with "What is the current job title", so do I put when I started my current job title, or when I started at the company overall? Right now, I've guess when I started my current job title.

Would any of your other family members be affected if your application was refused? I've put "no" on this one under the assumption it doesn't include my husband, but should I actually put "yes" for him?

1. When did the current employment begin? This is prelimmed with "What is the current job title", so do I put when I started my current job title, or when I started at the company overall? Right now, I've guess when I started my current job title.

2. Would any of your other family members be affected if your application was refused? I've put "no" on this one under the assumption it doesn't include my husband, but should I actually put "yes" for him?
1. Best answer should be to write the date when you initially joined that company under regardless of title and then your employer letter can state your recent and previous job title.

2. Depend on your own circumstances. Mostly say yes because both partner/other family members cannot live alone/apart.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Thank you!! I've now made the grave error of going through my declaration, but got to the final payment page and it says "check your application again". I have already looked at it about 5 times, but this last time saw that I didn't answer fully the question:
Please list your shared financial responsibilities and how much you each pay each month
All I put was a list of what we pay, but not how much! Should I delete the application and start over, or should I put the details in a cover letter explaining my error?

Maybe keeping continue on same application and adding a covering letter clarifying that error be better.
