For Those Still Waiting From June 2015 onwards using esol

Hi All,

Alot of people know my husband applied for BC under 6(2) which is spouse of bc. Its nearly 4 months since he spplied ( HO received June 12th)
He also used ESOL certificate too thats in the transitional list until November.

Ive a funny feeling they will drag it out until the language law changes next month....and then refuse based on not having the new language certificate. If that happens, and we really hope it doesnt, could we request reconsideration claiming the certificate was valid upon application and it wasnt our fault the application took 5 months to proccess? Seniors what would your suggestions be please

The rules applied are on the BC application date, not on the date of determination.

if the applicant got ILR after 28th Oct 2013 then the B1 certificate will still be valid even after new rules coming in November 2015.
