From Outside or Inside UK ??Switching from Temporary work:Government Authorised Exchange to Health and Care worker visa,

Hi, I am from Malaysia ,
I came to the UK in July 2021 with Tier 5: Government Authorised Exchange Visa with the initial contract of 1 year period with the NHS. After a year , I have been offered to extend my stay and has been given a renewed Visa but the renewed Visa is name as Temporary worker: Government Authorised exchange Visa which is due end of June 2023.( I supposed they have revoked the point system at that point and changed it to temporary worker) .

The NHS has offerred me to extend my stay longer and I would need to now switch my Visa to Health and care worker / Skilled worker . However ,I am not sure weather this can be done from inside UK or do I have to go back to my home country to apply from there ?

The terms on home office website are quite vague as its stated ;
'' You cannot apply to switch to this visa if you're currently in the UK ;
-On a visit visa
-On a short term student Visa
-On a parent of a Child student Visa
- On a seasonal worker visa
- On a domestic worker in a private household visa
- On immigration bail
- Because you were given permission to stay outside the immigration rules. For example on compassional grounds

You must leave the UK and apply for a skilled worker visa from abroad if you're in one of these categories ''

I am not sure under which categories is Temporary worker : Government Authorised Exchange Visa is as it is not clearly stated here .

I hope someone can help me give some idea .

It is the SAME visa and the same visa rules. Just the NAME that change with removal of phrase 'tier 5'.

You can switch within the uk if you meet the requirements for the health and care visa.

Does this means that Tier 5/ Temporary worker is not considered Seasonal worker ? Sorry for such silly question , just that when I googled seasonal worker it came out in bracket as temporary worker and I got confused

No it is not the same a seasonal worker.

Seasonal working is a different visa category with different rules.
