UK Visitor visa for child, confusion

Hi,
I'm helping a Mum ( my girlfriend ) fill in UK Tourist visa application for her and her
two children to visit the UK.

Mum is completing 3 standard visa applications, one for each of them.
Her daughters are 8 and 18 years old.

Is it correct that they all complete the same standard visa application, some of the questions
don't make sense for a child e.g. "what is your employment status", "do you have any income or savings"
how do you answer these for an 8 year old?

Also things like what is your email address and phone number, she does not have those so is it correct to use mums details
and several other questions that make no sense.
What is the total amount of money you spend each month?
Include living costs, money given to dependants, rent or mortgage, and any other bills or costs.

how to answer for child, won't accept 0

I feel I have missed something but all my searching just leads back to the standard visa application

Some guidance on the above would be appreciated
