3. I uploaded all documents myself - they will give you a checklist. I scanned in pdf and used online combine & compress tool to combine and reduce the size of each file as the new system allows only size up to 6MB each

Any help in regards to SET LR form application please ask me anytime

Thanks and regards

Can you explain how you upload your document and reduce the size under 6MB plz?

Depends what you're using to scan.

You can set the settings to 130-150dpi.

I used 150 dpi, and the passport(all pages) was under 3MB.

Yesterday my mp forwarded an email to me where Home office did actually come back to him saying that my application was still under consideration and that a decision will be made as soon as possible and in the meantime i can apply for full refund of the extra money i paid for the super priority service. after this email yesterday, I received an email directly from the home office this morning basically repeating the same thing i received from my mp.
I hope it’s a sign things have started moving in my case! I’m definitely claiming for a refund. Does anyone know how and where do i do that?

Thanks

@Moderators

Can we please have a timeline thread for ILR using UKVCAS in order to start seeing how long its taking ppl using sopra steira for super priority?

There used to be a timeline thread for PSC appointments but it has been locked since we moved to the new service.

Something like this-

Type of Application - ILR SET (O,M,FLR etc.)
Data application submitted oline - xyz
Data appointment attended - abc
Decision email/letter received - 123
Data BRP received - 789

I've revised my list from ten days ago. I know it's not perfect, there's a mix of different routes here and some people won't have come back to update

the conclusion which everyone can see clearly is that the 2nd half of November was a total mess. There were basically NO quick decisions until well into December but there are quite a few very fast ones now. So they're not going through them in any logical order - it's like the late-November ones are sitting in a box in a dark room somewhere!

the best day for your premium appointment was.....Christmas Eve!! Go figure....

No, not a general UKVCAS thread, they are a nightmare to moderate as many members are unable or unwilling to follow timeline topic rules and persist in posting questions in them.

There are already a timeline thread in the ILR sub forum and Immigration for Family sub forum and others and members should continue to post in the correct timeline format in the topics already running. Simply state the extra info where relevant as 'postal or in person' for example and add an extra line for the additional points.

immigration-for-family-members/new-flr- ... 3-400.html

uk-tier-2-employer-sponsored-visas/in-c ... -1900.html

I will create a duplicate of the one below to replace the in person premium topic that has been locked.

indefinite-leave-to-remain/ilr-postal-t ... 5-340.html

well there you go, Christmas Eve scores another goal. If you applied a month ago on Nov 28th, you have 20% chance of having got a response. If you had appointment 3 days ago - 100% success rate. Logic flies out of the window. 8)

I feel sorry for those who are waiting for weeks as mentioned this morning prior to my decision.

Someone made a good point few days ago, that maybe they are quickly processing new ones as to avoid the statistics of late decisions to increase as the ones already delayed don't affect their stats now.

I hope everyone who paid for super priority get their decision asap and also full refund for the misery

Thank you for your swift response,if you dont mind Any particular raison for the cover letter or just list of your submitted documents.
I paid for a lawyer to review my application for completeness and she helped me write my cover letter to summarize why I was applying, how I met my husband, my previous dealings with the HO and a list of documents provided. I had a few address changes in the 2 years and had to explain the reason in the cover letter. I wouldn’t have thought of adding a cover letter initially however the lawyer recommended and was worth the cost of her legal fees as the rest of my application was quite straightforward. And your recommendation of the consent for verification helped too as I didn’t include it in my package until you said something !! So thank you!
Best of luck Mizer and keep us posted. When is your appointment?

Hi all,

I have been following the thread for sometime and I was about to post what fauji74 just posted.
Applied mid - december for ILR under tier 2 route (Super priority) and have escalated once - no emails or any communication so far.

Also, any idea what's the status of right to work and stay once the current visa runs out.

Thanks.
Apologies for posting this again.
Any thoughts on the right to work/stay whilst the application in under consideration?

Thanks

As has been answered 100s of times on the forum, if you submitted an application in time and your current visa expires while it is in process, your existing visa conditions continue under Section 3C of the immigration rules. So in your case, you can continue working for your Tier 2 sponsor.

@Moderators

Can we please have a timeline thread for ILR using UKVCAS in order to start seeing how long its taking ppl using sopra steira for super priority?

There used to be a timeline thread for PSC appointments but it has been locked since we moved to the new service.

Something like this-

Type of Application - ILR SET (O,M,FLR etc.)
Data application submitted oline - xyz
Data appointment attended - abc
Decision email/letter received - 123
Data BRP received - 789
No, not a general UKVCAS thread, they are a nightmare to moderate as many members are unable or unwilling to follow timeline topic rules and persist in posting questions in them.

There are already a timeline thread in the ILR sub forum and Immigration for Family sub forum and others and members should continue to post in the correct timeline format in the topics already running. Simply state the extra info where relevant as 'postal or in person' for example and add an extra line for the additional points.

I know which topic you were referring to, no need to point it out and it will not be a topic like that one that became a general chit chat and discussion thread It will be a strictly TIMELINE ONLY topic as per the example links I have posted.

now that everyone started to worry about their visa the ho r giving people qucik decisions so they don't get blamed . our ones r stuck since nearly a month submitted on the 7th and no answer apart from the error email which was that it will take up to 6 months that email was incorrect.
this is so stressful and unfair to me and those that actually r waiting for months and no answer regardless of paying 3k and above .
anyone else received that error emil or not
