Has he lived in the UK in the past, at any time?
When do you turn 18?
Was this the first time he ever lived in the UK???He lived in the UK for 6 months before we all moved here.

So does this mean I will have to stay In fulltime education until i apply for ILR?ohara wrote:I think CR001 is trying to establish whether you are eligible for a section 3(2) or 3(5) registration as a British citizen. Unfortunately the former requires the British parent to have lived in the UK for at least 3 years before the birth, and the latter requires the parent and child to have lived in the UK for at least 3 years after the birth. The entitlement only lasts until the age of 18, so it looks like you're just going to miss that opportunity, which is a shame as it would have made things a whole lot easier for you.
