Health Surcharge

I am about to apply for a skilled worker visa. My CoS is for a 5 year period. The health surcharge cost is too high. Is it possible that I pay for only 3 years right now. And pay the remaining later, after completing 3 years in the UK?

No. You pay ihs for what the CoS and visa duration so you have to pay for 5 years. You can't choose to pay less.
