How to get a Schengen Visa

So Basically I have a visa to settle in the UK. Its not ILR or ILE, its just a settlement visa for 27 months.

My father and I want to go to belgium. He already has a british passport so he doesnt need a visa. For me, how do i get a visa, how long will it take, and is it easier since i have a UK visa and my father is a British citizen?

I am a Zimbabwean Citizen, my father is a British citizen. Im living in the UK with him.

You need to apply for a visa. How old are you?

How did your father become British and when?

You will likely still need to apply for a Schengen visa.
