Post by SafferGyrl » Wed Jul 13, 2005 2:45 pm

When going through the recruitment process, how many applicants does my employer have to interview/consider in order to satisfy the Work Permit office requirements?

At a guess, all those which applied and met the job requirements. If they are specifically looking at employing you, I would also assume they would have to consider any applicants who are equally or better qualified. But I'm just guessing here :?

As long as the post has been advertised for 28 days (and proof of this can be provided), there shouldn't be a problem. It could be the case there are no applicants. For my wifes previous job, there was only 1 other applicant who didn't have the right skill set, so she got the job easily.
