How the two referees will be contacted by HO?

Hi All,
just wondering if someone can share his experience that how home office will contact the two referees you provided during naturalizations application as one of my referee is leaving the country for good and would not be living at the address I put during my application.

No they don't. It is very rare for HO to contact referees.
