ICT from March 2012 - Can my company sponsor my ILR

I am on ICT from March 2012 and it was extended in for another 2 years in March 2015. After 5 years, can my company sponsor ILR for me or i have to take cooling period ?

I thought after 2010 ICT did not lead to ILR?

Apparently there is a lot of misinformation out there. I thought the same thing!

Yes, agree. I think it is a lot of 'I heard from a colleague/friend that.....' or 'someone at the pub was saying......' etc.

You don't qualify for ILR based on Tier 2 ICT issued in March 2012. Cooling off period applies if you want to apply for a new entry clearance visa through the Tier 2 General route with an approved sponsor company.
