ILE expiration date and Visa to BRP

Hello, I'm a nineteen year-old who's about to be taken in to immigrate by my dad who is a British Citizen by naturalisation.

The problem here is, I want to stay in my home country for a while before I finish my studies and finally start living in UK after getting a degree and so on.

After a lengthy argument he told me it was fine and he'd let me, but he told me he at least wants me to visit right before my Indefinite Leave to Enter (ILE) expires in less than a month and get my Biometric Residence Permit which he told me would probably take maximum a month or so. I have never entered the UK nor been to any other countries in my whole life.

Here are my questions:

1. Are there other ways to extend my ILEs duration without entering UK?

2. Isn't there a set minimum duration where I have to stay in the UK to get my Indefinite Leave to Return (ILR)/Biometric Residence Permit(BRP)?

3. If I do get in the UK and apply for BRP, how long will it usually take? And do I have to stay in the UK while it gets processed?

Thank you for all your help. He has given me the liberty to make the decision so I want to take this time to make the right decision. (I want to stay in my country.)

ILE does not expire unless you leave the UK for 2 or more years. I suggest you listen to your Father considering that you are no longer a child and you may struggle to get entry clearance again if your ILE "expires".

Pardon for my late reply but how would the ILE "valid until" work when I have never been in the UK?

I'm in no state to travel in the UK in less than a month so I want to consider the options I have.

What's the valid from and valid until entry for? It says UK Entry Clearance with the "Settlement: Indefinite Leave to Enter" with it being valid from January 28 up until February 27.

Do I have to go in less than a month or do we have any other options?

Hi, my Visa both has ILE (Indefinite Leave to Enter) and an expiration date. I'm confused to why it says indefinite and yet has an expiration date.

I'm currently studying and my father wants to take me in the UK for a month or so to convert my Visa to BRP and go back to my country afterwards.

My questions are:

I. When 27/02/20 passes, am I no longer going to be accepted in the UK afterwards? Is there a way to extend the availability period if so?

II. Is what he's telling me a good idea? Basically what he and I wants is for me to come in the UK, get my BRP, and go back to my home country as fast as possible.

III. How long will it typically take for me to get my BRP? I've read that it's six months or so but I am not sure.

I have never been in the UK before nor any other country.

From my understanding the ILE "expiration date" should expire around the same time as my passport would, however, this doesn't seem to be the case as my passport is set to expire on December 2, 2022. Why is this the case? Could this be an error?

It is 30 day visa vignette to facilitate entry to the UK within 30 days and collect brp card at post office within 10 days of arrival.

To change the date on the visa vignette costs about £200.

I've read a bit more and read that I can pick up my visa/BRP as soon as I arrive in the UK within 10 days. Is this correct? If so, I can come in the UK, collect my BRP within 10 days and go back?

There is another option-- vignette transfer. Does this EXTEND the duration for another 30 days or is it possible to entirely move the 30-day period to another timeframe (to next year perhaps or so for the £200 payment fee)?
