ILR 2020

Post by Kumar11 » Tue Feb 25, 2020 7:25 pm

Hi, I am new to this forum . I came into UK on September 11 , 2015 . My visa was stamped on August 7 , 2015 . I am in tier 2 general visa . My question is when can I apply for ILR? I satisfy all the other criteria ( 180 days , salary ) . I am aware that I can apply 28 days before completing five years . Is it from the date in which my visa was stamped or my date of entry ? When can I apply ? Some say it is the entry date , some say visa stamped date) . Please clarify.
My family came in on the same day along with me and visa was stamped on the same day like me . They are pbs dependent . Can they also apply along with me ?
Thanks

Counts from visa stamp/valid from date.

Hi , I am aware that I can upgrade my application from standard to super priority after submission. But , can I with draw my standard application and apply a new one if the super priority is back( I am aware that I will lose my fees ) . I hold a valid visa until 2021 . Thanks .

Not recommended as that can render you an overstayer

The op holds a valid visa till next year. Why would they be an overstayer if they withdraw the ilr app?

Sorry , I am aware I cannot upgrade from standard to super priority.
I need ILR for my daughters university Starting sep 2020 . she is classified as international student at the moment . If she submits her ILR before aug 31 - 2020 , the university has promised for change from international( which is a huge amount ) to home fees . So , losing the application fees for standard is better than paying international fees for 5 yrs .
I have a valid visa till aug 2021.
Can I withdraw my application if the priority service is back before aug and apply a new one ?
Please help.
