ILR application - first entered UK

Hello,

I applied the tier 2 general visa outside the UK, got it on 1-April, however, I entered the UK on 7-April. Which date should I put on the application?
"This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started"
I "entered" the UK on 7-April, however, the application should base on the date when my visa went valid.
Anyone can share some of their experiences? Much appreciated!!

You are overthinking.

The question VERY clearly asks the date you ENTERED the UK. That is what you put. It is not asking for 'visa valid FROM date'.
