ILR application was submitted instead of LTR and want my refund

Hello,
Please can someone help out here, I submitted ILR application 30th September 2024 and was officially received 15th Oct 2024 after my biometrics and got a response by the caseworker 15th October 2024 saying I have submitted the wrong application and told me to re-submit another fresh application for LTR and asked me to notify him/her after the fresh/new application to process my full application fee of the wrong one with the exclusion of the £1000 super priority fee , which sounded great to me .

The problem here now is , another application was submitted 28th October 2024 to the family Route LTR and that has been successful and visa renewed for another 2.5 years.

I have made countless efforts to get in touch with the caseworker through contact emails sent via their letter to me all to no avail for my refund to be processed and sent back to the account the money came out .

please can anyone help me on how to make application for my refund of the wrong ILR application fee refund as the caseworker had promised in their letter to me for this refund .. please I need some help here

Refunds can take a few weeks and are usually automatic.

Did you submit a cover letter explaining the error/mistake with your new application?

yes i did submit a cover letters to various emails and with the newly submitted LTR application up till this moment still no reply
