ILR TO BRP Transfer

I am about to apply online for my BRP as my ILR is on expired passport. I noticed that they have asked for documents proving my continuous residence in the UK since I was granted the ILR back in 2005. The problem is I shipped all my old documents to storage in Nigeria because of lack of space in London and the high cost of storage. Can i just write a supporting letter stating this situation ? I have all my old passports since being granted ILR with me to prove my continuous residence. Would that suffice ?

Ho will expect to see bank statements, P60s, council tax documents, etc etc.

Does that means my application will be rejected ? I wont eb able to gain acces to the documents unless I travel back to Nigeria
