ILR/citizenship query- children born in the U.K

Post by chakku71 » Mon Jun 22, 2009 3:49 am

Hi, I have 3 dependents, wife and two children both under 2 years and born in the U.K. Our visa status is HSMP.I am eligible to apply for ILR and as per the JR ruling will get the ILR backdate by an year- children born prior to back date.
When I am applying for ILR, can I apply only for my wife and me (i.e. not include the kids) and when I am applying for citizenship, then can I include my children as well as per
Section 1(3) applications - children born in the United Kingdom to parents who are now settled in the United Kingdom.
Thank You
BB

If child was born in the UK and is travelling, then yes.
