If your child (304-309) is not travelling, then you do not need to make an immigration application for leave to remain for her/him (Section 4a - Children born in the United Kingdom who are not British Citizens).

You may wait and include her/him in your extension or settlement (except under long residence) applications; OR immediately after a parent is granted settlement/PR, their child is entitled to register for British citizenship (Section 1(3)), irrespective of child's immigration status.
