ILR eligibility

Post by ilrengland2015 » Fri Oct 30, 2015 3:57 pm

I came to UK as student in Sept 2009
Changed from Student to Tier 1 PSW in Jan 2011
Changed from Tier 1 PSW to Tier 2 General in Jan 2013

Since Tier 1 PSW started in 2011, Am I eligbile to apply for ILR in Jan/ Feb 2016?

I know that Tier 1 PSW won't count for ILR but I don't see that specifically mentioned anywhere. May be only the Visa category that I am in when I apply counts?

Kindly let me know if you need more details.

No, student visa and PSW do not count towards ILR based on 5 years residence. It only counts when you apply for ILR based on 10 years long residence.

You will qualify for ILR in 2018
