Appologies if the questions have been asked before, I read a few topics here but I am still a bit confused.
Some background: my husband and I entered the UK in the end of Aug 2016, each on a Tier2 visa. In Sep 2018 our child and I switched to PBS Dependants of my husband. Our next leave (PBS Dependant) was granted in Nov 2019 and then again in Nov 2022 (valid until Nov 2025). As of today, my husband is a British cictizen by naturalisation (ILR in Sep 2021, citizenship in Jul 2023) and, our son and I, are eligible to apply for ILRs as PBS Dependants (5 years, set(O)). Now, my questions are as following:
1. Finance section of the application asks "Do you or anyone else who is part of this application receive any public funds?" - obviously neither my son or I recieve any public funds but since Dec 2022 my husband receives Child benefit. Should I answer "no" or "yes", as I am not sure if my husband is considered as part of the application or not
2. Proof of cohabitation - should I submit documents for: (a) the past 5 years, (b) since my last leave was granted - Nov 2022, or (c) last 2 to 3 years?
3. As I need to submit documents from 3 to 6 sources to prove that we lived together, will this pattern work, e.g.:
Jan 22 - Bank statements for both
Mar 22 - Payslips for both
Jun 22 - NHS letters for both
Sep 22 - Bank statements for both
etc.
4. Do I understand it correctly that there are no financial requirements for my husband (whose Dependant I am). I know this is true for me but not sure about him. If my husband has to meet financial requirements, what would be the number and will our joint income be taken into consideration or only his.
Thank you for taking your time to read through this long post
