My ILR Spouse Visa Set M - Help needed

Post by Praanav » Mon Jan 13, 2020 7:07 pm

HI
I am going to apply for ILR - 5 year route. My visa was granted on 17.10.2014. But i came to UK after 3 months on 5.2.2015 because I was pregnant and the dr advised me to travel after 32 weeks. Now my visa expires on 17.1.2020. I am short of 18 days for my 5 year period in UK. Does it affect my application. If I apply for priority date, can I choose a day after 18 days. what counts here, the date of application or appointment date. Please reply me.
Also I have stayed in India for more than 3 months in the year 2016 and 2017. is it acceptable.
Please reply. I am in the middle of my application. but I am really confused.

If you hold a spouse settlement visa, you can apply for ilr no sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the date you entered the UK. You could have applied last week already.

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online.

You need English B1, if applicable and 6 months evidence of meeting the financial requirements and 2 years evidence of cohabitation in both names.

Absence of 3 months is irrelevant as there is no absence limit for a spouse visa.
