ILR Successful - Croydon PEO - 24/02/14

Post by plsanswer » Tue Feb 25, 2014 8:39 pm

Big thanks to the members on this forum. Its been a great help.

I was on tier 2 ICT issued in 2009. Appointment was at 9 am, token number issued at 09:10, called to meet case worker around 09:45 (he checked only app form, photographs, appointment email & payment sheet, collected all originals and photocopies, filed them in a folder and gave it back to me, was asked to wait for Biometrics), Biometrics done and docs submitted around 10:30 and a decision was made around 11:15 after biometrics.

Documents Submitted:
Appointment email
Payment Sheet
Form Set (o) with 2 photographs
Employer letter (attested)
Summary of Absences (year wise - letter I prepared based on the backward calculation and my date of application)
LITU pass letter
UK NARIC letter stating C1 level based on my degree
Letter from College stating all my academic subjects were taught in English
12 months bank statement
12 months payslips (attested by Employer)

Photocopy of all the documents above.

I have got 3 questions -

1) The letter provided states
"THESE NOTES ARE FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND DO NOT CONVEY THE GRANT OF ILR
Your application for indefinite leave to remain in the UK has been approved. You will be sent a BRP as a confirmation of your indefinite leave to remain in the UK".
Is this ok? the text in bold sounded contradictory.

2) My spouse is still on Tier 2 ICT Dependant visa valid until 2016. Is it ok for her to travel outside UK and come back?

3) Caseworker has retained the original Employer letter. Is this fine? Do they usually return?

Thanks again !

Case worker will normally retain all those letters which are addressed to them (UKBA)
I am not an immigration adviser...All IMHO.
