Tier 1 Entrepreneur to ILR

Post by sami1975 » Sun Jul 08, 2018 6:03 pm

Hello Moderators

Please help me to get correct information and advance sorry if the post seems too lengthy:

I visited very rarely immigration boards but the time I spent in 2016/2017 and the knowledge I gained was really very helpful to prepare my application and getting 100% results. Due to long delay in visa decision I got severe anxiety and depression so Doctors advised not to visit any solicitor etc because whatever you have done in your application no one can change so forget every thing wait for decision and just focus on your business . Anyways by the Grace of Almighty Allah finally after 11 months struggle got positive decision after 6 hours of lengthy process of office based interview.

Application Date: 10th July 2017
Biometric Done : 17th July 2017
Complex Issues Letter: 21st July 2017
Interview Call 15th May 2018
Interview Done at Office 21st May from 10 am to 4 pm
Decision Letter Dated 29th May and documents received on 10th June 2018 and Biometric Card on 15th June 2018.

I am praying for every one who is stuck due to the reasons. Nothing is helpful if you chase HO by phone, email, PAP, just wastage of Money as I did in my case due to some personal and family issues.

I would request moderators to help me in these questions, My 5 years are completing in 17th July 2019 while Visa is until 29th May 2020.

1. Can I apply alone for ILR because my Family is completing 5 years in January 2021 and they have already got extension till May 2020 with me.

2. If Yes I can apply alone then what will be their(Family) status?

3. If they will apply for another extension, what application form they should use and how much IHS need to pay.

4. What exact documents should I prepare for ILR?

If have any question linked to extension, I will be happy to reply as early as I can.

Advance Thank you for every one

Yes

They will remain PBS dependants and you need to apply for their extension as PBS dependant still before their visa expires.

PBS Dependant and the same IHS

The same T1E Guidance has the requisite information.

It is almost similar to your extension except:

1. Investment evidence no longer needed
2. Life in the UK test needed
3. Maintenance funds not required.

Note that since the transitional arrangements end in April 2019, you need to show two jobs of 12 months each.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

Dear marcnath

Thank you for organizing my latest and old posts as this would be helping others. I always tried to get maximum information from this one of the best free advice forum that saved thousands of pounds from solicitors and accountants.

I used the below information provided by you for my ilr application and also followed full ilr guidance. I have sent all the required documents but also sent 2 years' accounts and 2 employee contracts. No other extra document sent for ilr.

Could you please help me with the below question like before:

1. My family arrived in the UK on 20th February 2016 while their initial visa was granted 23rd November 2015. When they are eligible for ilr?

2. Their dependent visa expiry is at the end of May 2020 so how much visa they required to meet their 5 years status as a dependant.

Please do apologize to me if questions were answered before as I am not a very regular visitor to the site.

Many Thanks

1. Within 28 days before 23 November 2020.

2. They will need to apply for an extension before their current visas expire. It will be a 3 year extension.

Thank you for your reply CR001.

That means if they don't get their decision by the end of October 2020 (Which I don't think so delayed till that time) then they can vary their application to ilr! but if they get that then they can apply for ilr any time in 3 years? am I right?

Many Thanks

Thank you bizman.

I believe these are ilr application requirements.

Do we need the same for dependants extension apart from life in the UK?

Many Thanks

Useful NOT to post pbs dependent extension in your ilr topic in the ilr sub forum. Please post dependent extension questions in the tier 1 Entrepreneur sub forum to avoid confusion!!!
