Changing application answers after completion

Post by mikerg76 » Wed Aug 28, 2019 10:20 pm

Hi,

I have just completed my wife's online application for FLR(M) and paid the IHS fee but have not yet paid the visa application fee.

I have just double checked the answers on all questions and have realised I answered one of the questions in the 'Immigration History' section incorrectly. For the question 'Did you enter the UK legally?'' I answered No thinking it said illegally   .
In the next question 'Please tell us how you entered the UK' I answered this correctly mentioning that my wife had initially entered the UK on a spouse visa issued in Thailand.

Because I have paid the IHS fee already it will no longer allow me to edit the answers to the questions.

Q1. Could this incorrect answer jeopardise chances of her visa application being approved?
Q2. If so is there any way of contacting them to notify them of my error?

Thanks in advance

Mike

Hopefully caseworker will check the visa vignette on passport and will ignore it.

Sorry I forgot to say my wife already has a BRP as this is not her first application for FLR(M).

I'd like to think common sense prevails, however I don't want to chance it given that I'm going to be paying for the super expensive, super priority service.

Then as a precaution write a covering letter clarifying it and upload it along with other supporting documents.

Thanks for the quick response on this :D

To put my mind at ease, I've decided to write a covering letter as you suggested 8)
