I have a question, my child was born on Jan 24 and i got my ILR in March 24, should I apply for him the British citizenship first and then naturalization or I can apply for his naturalization directly ? Kindly advise as the citizenship fee is £1,210 and naturalization fee is quite cheap Children are registered (MN1), adults are naturalised. That's all that's required. Why is naturalisation quite cheap - not required of course.?
Secondly when i am filling up his citizenship application it appears a following question and what should I select, as i have to apply for the passport on March 2025 for my self:
Form Question:
Are either of the parents of the child (as stated in this application) applying for naturalisation as a British citizen on an AN form? (Required) Yes or No If you are not applying yourself then it wouldbe NO....
Kindly advise, many thanks.
