Evidencing Sufficient Income

Post by Cent 2016 » Wed Oct 26, 2016 3:11 am

Hi, pardon if the answer to my question is already answered in this forum.

I want to apply for a spousal visa in the UK with my wife as sponsor (we are both living and legally married in the UK). My wife is in full time nursing education, but she also works part time. She gets student bursary of about £16,000 p/a from the NHS, and earns about £7000 from her job.

Would the HO consider her student bursary as a qualifying income?

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
