Hello
My Situation:
I am applying for an FLR(M) extension as my current FLR(M) for 30 months (Nov 2018 - May 2021) is coming to an end.
My spouse is a British Citizen and I am an Indian citizen.
Timeline:
1990 - 2013 - Lived in India
2013-2015- Lived in South Africa
2015-March 2016 - Lived in India
March 2016 - Feb 2017 - Lived in UK (Tier 2 Short term visa)
Feb 2017 - June 2017 - Lived in India
June 2017- Nov 2018 - Lived in UK (Tier 2 Long Term Visa, met my wife and married her in the UK)
Nov 2018 - Present - Spouse Visa (Changed to spouse visa - FLR(M) within the UK)
Questions:
1. Do I have to give the English test again? When I applied for my first FLR(M) within the UK in Sept 2018, I gave the GESE Grade 5 -B1 Trinity exam. I have checked the exam center and the exam name is still on the approved list.
Is the test result still valid for my FLR(M) extension in April 2021?
2. As you can see from my timeline, I have been to the UK before on a Tier 2 Short Term visa. What should I answer to the question under personal information: 'How long have you lived in the UK?'
Possible Dates to calculate the duration:
a. March 2016 (When I first entered the UK, this visa finished in 2017 and I went back to India though)
b. June 2017 (When I entered the UK on Tier 2 Long term. I changed this to Spouse Visa in Nov 2018 when I married, so I didn't leave the UK)
c. Nov 2018 (When my spouse Visa -FLR(M) started, this was granted within the UK)
3. Is the answer to question 2 the same for this question under immigration history: 'When did you enter the UK?'
Thank you for your time.
