PDF documents for FLR M

• Letter from employer with employment details (NOT signed but from my HR department with an HR person's name on it)
• Employment contract (hand-signed digitally using Adobe)
• Water bill (with both names on. Can use 2 alternative paper docs for that time period instead)

Quick question about digital documents for FLR M extension.

Some of the documents we have are in digital pdf form, not in paper form. Is this an issue for the application process or must all documents physically exist on paper and be scanned in?

All the documents have all the proper graphics/company headers and are exactly what the company would have printed and sent. They aren't just website screenshots. None of the documents listed below have ever existed as a paper version, this is just how I received them.

We plan to upload all documents from home using the new document upload service. We've not used it before. From what I've read pdf is an accepted document type.

Documents affected:

• 6 months of pay slips
• P60

I suppose I can print them out then scan them but that seems a bit wasteful, especially for the 22 page employment contract.

I have a PDF letter from the employer which was written last week. I assume it's fine if it's not actually signed by the HR person? It has company header, is addressed to the Home Office and has all the necessary details.

The employment contract is an optional piece of evidence according to the online form so if I can I'm going to upload it.
A signed contract of employment - for Mr XX for YY

1. My employee letter is dated 6th November but we will be sending off the application tomorrow (14th Nov). Is that time gap fine? (I think I read it should be dated within 28 days of application)
2. Payslips, requires 6 months. My payslips come at the end of the month. So if I only include 6 payslips then that only technically covers 5.5 months of time. So I should include 7 payslips and matching bank statements?

5. For the question "What is the start date of your current visa or leave to remain?":
My wife received a BRP for the first FLR(M) application. This BRP date of issue is June 2018.
She changed her name partway through the first FLR(M) period due to marriage. We made a TOC application (Transfer Of Conditions, I think) to the HO and received a new BRP with the updated name. This new BRP has a different Date of Issue, Feb 2019. Same "valid until" date.

For the above question from the application, are we meant to put the date of the original FLR(M) BRP date of issue, or the new name changed BRP date of issue?

I'm guessing the original June 2018 date as that's when the visa actually started but would like to clarify.
