Today marks 60 days and i have still not heard... any advice would be appreciated
Contacted ukvi and told still awaiting decision: 26th july 2017 (60th day after biometric)
Lawyer got local MP involved: 31st july 2017
Still awaiting outcome. Online tracker shows GWF number still not recognised

Email from UKVI email enquiry 11/09/2017: The status of your visa application has been recently decided.
We cannot discuss the outcome of your application online or by telephone. You should receive written details of your application within 10 working days
Contacted for Collection: Received an sms saying”The processed visa application for GWFxxxxxxxxx will be delivered to the chosen address.” On 03/10/2017
Collection made: deliverred at my address on 04/10/2017 with and accepted visa stamp.
It took quite a long time but it did get accepted .

Sponsor contacted by UKVI - YES (Asked to submit missing Appendix 2. We obviously missed this because the UKVI website mentions this is for North Korea residents only. UKVI specifically mentions in the e-mail asking for missing appendix - "Please disregard the instruction: ‘North Korea Only’. They have asked my wife to e-mail the Appendix 2 back to them - "To enable our team to decide the applicant’s case promptly it is essential that you reply as soon as you can. If you do not produce the information requested within 10 working days the application will be considered on the basis of the documents)
