I was refused for the exact same reason, but i worked for my uncles company, and i needed to provided ct600 documents etc, my solicitor also advised me incorrectly and i just provided payslips and bank statements, second time i applied with all the specified limited company documents and have now been accepted visa approved second time, use a good solicitor and make sure you have all the documents required including 12 payslips matching the 12 months company tax period and on going employment, and make sure your english requirement is correct also. Your solicitor sounds really bad if he didn't know the correct english requirement aswell this is what they get paid for ridicilous they are not aware of the financial requirements
I also work for my parents limited company. The are both directors.

I am a employee of this company on a PAYE salary. I didn't provide any documents regarding the limited company.

Will this be a issue and result in a refusal?
Unfortunately Yes😒
a) The specified type of limited company is one in which: (i)the person is a either a director or employee of the company, or both, or of another company withinthe same group; and (ii)shares are held (directly or indirectly) by the person, their partner or the following family members of the person or their partner: parent, grandparent, child, stepchild, grandchild, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, nephew, niece or first cousin; and (iii) any remaining shares are held (directly or indirectly) by fewer than five other persons. (b) All of the following must be provided:
(i)Company Tax Return CT600 (a copy or print-out) for the last full financial year and evidence this has been filed with HMRC, such as electronic or written acknowledgment from HMRC.

(ii)Evidence of registration with the Registrar of Companies at Companies House.
(iii) If the company is required to produce annual audited accounts, such accounts for the last full financial year.
(iv) If company is not required to produce annual audited accounts, unaudited accounts for the last full financial year and an accountant’s certificate of confirmation, from an accountant who is a member of a UK Recognised Supervisory Body (as defined in the Companies Act 2006) or who is a member of the Institute of Financial Accountants;
(v) Corporate/business bank statements covering the same 12-month period as Company Tax Return CT600.
(vi)A current Appointment Report from Companies House.

(vii)One of the following documents must also be provided: (1)A certificate of VAT registration and the VAT return for the last full financial year (a copy or a print-out) confirming the VAT registration number, if turnover is in excess of £79,000 or was in excess of the threshold which applied during the last full financial year. (2)Proof of ownership or lease of business premises. (3)Original proof of registration with HMRC as an employer for the purposes of PAYE and National Insurance, proof of PAYE reference number and Accounts Office reference number. This evidence may be in the form of a certified copy of the documentation issued by HMRC.

(c) Where the person is listed as either a director or employee of the company (or both) and receives a salary from the company, all of the following documents must also be provided: (i)Payslips and P60 (if issued) covering the same period as the Company Tax Return CT600. (ii)Personal bank statements covering the same 12-month period as the Company Tax Return CT600 showing that the salary as either a directoror employee of the company (or both) was paid into an account in the name of the person or in the name of the person and their partner jointly.

If you guys are on a normal salary in your family business, you must provide ALL these documents and meet the requirements, if you miss anything out it will just be refused again, i provided all these things and met the requirements to get my visa granted. Please include all this in the next application to be successful, and also the LAST full financial year must be provided so your company's latest financial year, i had to file mine 3 months early in order to apply as usually our accounts are done in june but because i wanted to apply for spouse visa the accounts were filed earlier to meet the requirements
Thank you soo much dear Hamzah for your detailed guidance and sharing your practical experience with us👍🏻 Allah bless you dear

Hi
We are in such similar situation. Did they tell you your application was processed decision not made?
I agree priority is a waste of money - they make you wait further 15 days if you escalate. I have had no contact at all from UKVI
hi yeahh they said my application was processed and is awaiting decision.
So frustrating!! I really hope we both hear soon. Seeing how long yours has been I am losing hope that it will be longer. Have they contacted you or your employer?

it is really fustrating! and no they havent contacted me or my employer . have they contacted you or your employer
No no contact at all! It has been 40 working days now! Just wish we didnt bother using priority!

UPDATE- Called my MP’s office again today. The MP’s secretary said that the home office will reissue the decision to us and we should receive something from them this week. I’ve been told to wait till Friday.

Hoping for the best Eid gift. :)
Hi! Y123m did you receive any news about your visa from MP or HO??decision on my application was also made on 8-5-2019 same date as yours and still waiting for passport collection.plz let me know if you have any update.
No, i still haven’t received anything. Today is the 80th working day.
Was your child's application decided on the same day as yours and what is the date on the vignette if your child?
The home office are really inhumane. How can they give the child a visa and not the mother. God knows how they operate.
Yes same day as my child appliction decided.and her vignette date is from 15may to 14 june

In all the questions they asked, i gave a honest answer. It would be stupid of me to lie.

HamzahB786- i relied on employment salary and savings as i do not earn £18,600.

The decision on the application was made within a day of the interview taking place. Also if they didn't have the correct documents then why do a interview. This wait is really punishing.
well fingers crossed the ruling is different for you than
im only aware of the ruling if just relying on earning of £18,600 in family company
i'm not knowlegable on relying on savings also
insha allah i pray its good news

If the wait is killing you and its only 49th working day, then just think how everyone waiting more than 80 working days are coping.

49th working day is nothing and is normal to not hear anything. You should expect to wait the full 60 working days. Most decisions are received towards the end of this timeframe.

Hi all

This is going to be my second application for my wife as the first one was refused in October 2018

Application submitted on 30 may 2019
Biometric and appointment 2nd of June 2019
Documents sent to Sheffield 3 rd of June 2019
That’s for now

What I would like to share from my experience is that handling the matter to a professional is great it’s just I was almost wondering if this forum could help us by submitting the experiences of each of us about the solicitors as feed back for the rest cause at first I was advised by an online solicitor to appeal and later on by luck I got hooked with another solicitor who started fighting with the other that I must make a new application would be much better anyway please consider this as both cost me a lot and lost a year trying to figure the right one which I guess was the one to apply again new

Wish everyone get approval in his application and me too :D

I received a email from UKVI. Is anyone received like this email too? Is this a positive or negative . Im confuse!

Dear XXXXXXXXXXXXX,
Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre.
With regards to your enquiry about the status of your application, I can confirm that we have made a decision on your application. We cannot discuss the outcome of your application on-line or by telephone. However the visa application centre will be in contact with you in regards to collection or delivery of your passport.
We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the UK, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your documents.

Random question.. on what basis do people begin counting the working days from the biometrics appointment? Surely it's more logical that the period starts from receipt of the supporting evidence? You get 10 days to send the evidence with the priority visa and 20 for the standard, surely the period between your biometrics and submission of supporting evidence can not be considered as part of the period your application is under consideration?

UPDATE- My MP’s secretary has received a reply from the home office today. They confirmed I received a non straightforward email on 25th April as further checks were required on the application.
They also said that a decision on the application was made on Tuesday 28th May and the decision was sent to the VAC on the same day.
I called UKVI on 10th May and was told that decision had been made with status date 8th May. This conflicts with what the home official has said. Does anyone know why this would be?
Anyways, i’ve been told my wife should receive her passport soon. Fingers crossed.

Hi,
I have applied for my parents ADR settlement visa together and documents were sent in a single envelope. I have received the email below for my mother only. They haven't send any email for my father. Does it mean they haven't processed my father application yet? Today is 68 working days. Please see the email below:

"Dear xxx ,
The processed visa application for GWF reference number - gwf050xxxx was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 5/31/2019 .
If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.
If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times.
Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email."

This topic is for spouse visas mainly.

You do realise the liklihood of an adr approval is very slim.
