No! Biometrics is ONLY for identity check and finger prints and photo. They are done by a third party agent, not UKVI. The date of application is the date you submit and pay for the application online. That is it.Do you not become overstayer if biometrics are done after BRP expiry even if application was submitted before?
Last two years, from 3 to 6 different sources, spread evenly for every 3 to 4 months. Also how many forms of address letters is needed for ILR submission, e.g. council tax bills, electric etc
Thank you. Do the supporting documents have to be submitted before BRP expiry?CR001 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 8:29 pmNo! Biometrics is ONLY for identity check and finger prints and photo. The Supreme Court confirmed that a Biometrics appointment may be after expiry of leave. But the application date should be in-time to trigger Section 3C.
What about supporting documents upload on UKVCAS, is that ok AFTER BRP expiry?vinny wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 12:05 pmThe Supreme Court confirmed that a Biometrics appointment may be after expiry of leave. But the application date should be in-time to trigger Section 3C.

No. There has never been ANY official home office or proposed government policy to change the ILR qualifying period.
The group is called “New Conservatives”. As said there’s no government proposal to change current requirements.indian89 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 9:00 pmWhat do you mean new groupalterhase58 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 8:56 pmThe 8 years is just a proposal by the New Conservatives group of MPs as part of their proposals to clamp down on immigration.
