As long as the test was done at a UKVI approved test centre and is on the UKVI approved test list, it is fine.
Unsure what is causing confusion?

The test was done at Trinity College London yesterday 17.02.24. What is causing the confusion is the fact that my wife said the whole test lasted for about 10min and it's different from the way she sat her A1 and A2 test for her spouse visa and extension visa respectively and that's why i was a bit unsure as to whether she has taken the correct test this time around.
The test result read: Your provisional result is AA ( Pass with Distinction) .

She was asked to choose a topic during the test and even the provisional results that was sent to her this morning says GESE provisional result and that the final result will be ready in 4-7 days unlike when she took her A1 and A2 test for her spouse visa and extension.
I'm just a bit curious as i don't want to waste 3k only to then find out it wasn't the correct test as i was expecting them to write B1 on the provisional result rather than GESE provisional result that's all.
