You can continue to work for your tier 2 sponsor only. If you applied before visa expiry, your existing tier 2 visa conditions continue under section 3C of the immigration rules until ho makes a decision on your ilr.

Many have received this email. It is not necessary to post multiple times asking this question.

No you cannot work for another employer until you have been granted ilr. You can only work for your tier 2 sponsor until ilr is granted.

ILR application decision is awaiting under set(O) application (I.e. applied after completing 5 years on Tier 2 general sponsored visa) . But now job is under risk as employer is making staff redundant due to Covid impact on the company. If lost the job before the decision Is made on the application would it impact the ILR decision ?

DO NOT tag your question here. This is NOT your post
This query has been answered over and over. You are expected to be employed by your sponsor or else ILR will be refused
