[Need Help]Indian Consulting Agency sponsor jobs in UK

Hello,
I am working as Electrician/Fire Technician in one of the major hospital in india.I have 20 years of experience.
Recently i got an offer from a consulting agency , which is located in Hyderabad India.
The placement is in UK hospital as electrician on contract bases (on consulting payroll).
I studied ITI and 48 years old.
Is it legally ok or is there any problems. Please advice me .

You can only work in the UK if your work visa is sponsored by a UK employer who is an approved UKVI sponsor on the official list. The UK sponsor has to assigne a CoS to you to be able to apply for a visa.

There is no UK work visa that allows you to contract through a third party agency.

How did this consultancy find you?

Did you apply for jobs or did they contact you out of the blue?

Do they say there is a cost involved payable to them in getting you the visa?

I got connected through one of my friend , he know them personally. They asked me to pay 5 lakhs and 30,000 for medical screening.

It's probably a scam. Dont do it. You cannot contract in the UK on a skilled worker UK. It is illegal.

Many people from India and Pakistan have been scammed like this. They arrive in the UK with visas and then told to find their own contract jobs, which they can't because their visas don't allow it at all. If ukvi finds out, you face a 10 year ban.

You can only get a work visa from a ukvi approved sponsor on the approved sponsor list.

You find a job and then the company sponsors your visa. If its the otherway round involving huge sums of money, its a scam
