Visit Visa for fully sponsored job interview refused

Post by lifeh2o » Fri Jun 14, 2019 7:46 am

I applied for 6 month visit visa as business visit for 3 days visit to UK.

I recieved the following refusal letter

REASONS FOR REFUSAL

NRA v 1.0

You have applied for a visa to visit the UK.
In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: of the Immigration Rules for
visitors (https//www.gov.uk/quidancelimmigration-rules/i ... -v-visitor
rules), I have considered
- your application
- your immigration history

The decision:

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the
requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2-V4.10 of Appendix V because:

You have applied for a six (6) month visit visa to the UK for a three (3) day stay to
attend an interview. I understand the importance of such visits and I have taken this
into consideration when assessing your application.
I will inform you that each
application is assessed and a decision made based on the information contained on
the application form and the documents submitted with the application. However, the
onus is on you to qualify for entry clearance based on your own circumstances and
intentions.

You state xxxxx will be paying £x,xxx towards the cost of your travel. In support of
your application you have submitted a confirmation letter from them.
But whilst I take
that into account in assessing your proposed maintenance and accommodation in
the UK, this is only one aspect of the visitor rules and this sponsorship does not
satisfy me of your own intention to leave the UK on completion of your visit

You state you are employed as an xxxx Developer earning xxxxx PKR (£420)
per month and you are planning to spend 25,000 PKR (£135) on your trip. In support
of your application you have submitted a personal bank statement from XXX Bank (account ending XXX). I note many large deposits over the reporting
period which are not commensurate with your stated earnings. For example the total
amount credited to your account for the period 01/05/19 to 15/05/19 was 156,998
PKR (£849). However the documents presented do not show where this money has
come from, therefore I am not satisfied that the balance indicated by your bank
statement is an accurate reflection of your usual financial position

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you
meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 (a) (c) of Appendix V
and on the balance
of probabilities I am not satisfied that the documents you have submitted accurately
demonstrated your financial circumstances in Pakistan which undermines the
credibility of your application to the extent that I am not satisfied that you are
genuinely seeking entry as a visitor or intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit

I was suggested to take some money in case its needed so, I took money from my Mother (100k PKR) and Sister (50 PKR) just in case I need for anything during my trip. I didn't plan to spend it. 5000 was returned that I loaned to a friend, and 1,998 PKR was the return of an item that purchased online. Total 156,998 rupees that became the reason of refusal.

Also two times I got much more amount in salary as bonus amount, and it is clearly shown in bank statement that it was my salary.

1 year salary slips and 1 year bank statement was attached which included all these transactions.

I can not appeal. What should I do or provide to reapply?

Invalid reason on refusal letter

Post by lifeh2o » Wed Aug 21, 2019 5:15 pm

My visa application has been refused stating that i am going to UK attend the wedding for 13 days. While I stated multiple times in my application that I am going for a job interview for 3 days.

This drastically undermines the Visa application checking process.

How can they possibly make something up on their own. They said they were unable to contact the invitee, how can I believe even that now?

This is really serious, irresponsible and undermining whole UK Visa approval process.

Letter also states that I have no right to appeal, what should i do now?

My advice is to email to the complaints. complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk and make it very clear that you are not looking for a judicial review, you are complaining that the ECO has not done his job correctly, and explain clearly why he has made serious errors. Explain that, you insist this reconsidered based on the actual details of your visa application, since there is no point in reapplying if the ECO's are incapable of doing their job right.

It will take 20 working days for them to get back to you. Hope this helps.
