Citizenship applications from 2018 pending approval

Does anyone still waiting who applied in 2018?

I've applied in May 2018 (non-eu, work permit).
Second stage June 2019.
FIO requested this June.

Don't really want to go judicial review route, but starting losing hope.

applied jan 2018. seriously considering going the same route.

I applied in June 2018 but had to send additional information which was received in Oct 2018. I’m not sure which date my application counts from but either way and have yet to receive a second stage or a decision letter.

Are they still processing applications as I haven’t seen any on here for a while?

I read that all applications waiting over 24 months as of 30 December 2020 would have be contacted by June 2021 as they wanted to make contact with everyone waiting that long but I haven’t received anything. I sent them my first letter since applying in July asking for a bit of an update as I hadn’t heard anything and disappointingly only received a copy and paste reply.

I guess I’ll just have to keep waiting but I am curious and keep checking on here.

still on the same boat, I apply since July 27, 2018. tired of this system of processing in ireland.

I'm the same, waiting since early 2018. I also had hope after the media reports of the dept planning to contact everyone waiting 2years.... I've done FOI and it showed no reason for the delay... very frustrating. More than 10% of my life has been spent waiting for the department to make a decision on my application!
