We are non-national parents. Daughter was born in Ireland after 3 years of our reckonable residence in Ireland. (Children born in Ireland to non-national parents who have three years prior residency will continue to be Irish citizens from birth)

Thanks for this excellent info. I decided to also send 4 documents for proof of name/address, and my original US passport. Had a brief moment of doubt when handing the package over at the post office. It would be very unfortunate if that package got lost.

Now that my FBR is done, it's time to get in on this passport thread!

My timeline is a little different than the other's I've seen here so far. I wasn't going to post it until I was done.

Firstly Don't send 'em photocopies. I'm another applicant who needed to make an extra trip to the post office.

Well, I cant believe im at this point. It took almost 3 yeas and a whole lot of stress, but passport and card have arrived. Im still waiting on documents but thats enough for me. Thank you to everyone both here and in the FBR forum posting and helping everyone learn.
