Is Medical/Health insurance compulsory?

Hello,

I was on Stamp 1 initially.
Then I got Stamp 4 valid for 2 years based on critical skills permit.
Now I need to renew the Stamp 4.

Do I need to show proof that I had private medical/health insurance for the past 2 years that I have been on Stamp 4? Is that compulsory?

What other documents do I need to renew Stamp 4?

In my case, I've never had private medical insurance for renewing Stamp 4. I just brought my employment letter + payslips + bank statement + previous year's tax statement. With that, I've never had any issues.
