Hey I'm looking for some advice
Iv been to Brazil few times visiting my girlfriend she
Is coming on holiday visa soon to Ireland

But looking for advice on visa process
We thinking about 8 month English visa after her holiday visa is up

Before end of 8 months if we were to get married would she get stamp 4 visa?

What's your nationality? If you get legally married then yes, she can get a Stamp 4 or Stamp 4 EUFAM in Ireland depending on your nationality.

Doesn't she need to apply for a study visa from outside the country?

I'm Irish

Yes she is coming on holiday visa and then returning to Brazil were thinking about 8 month English language course visa then only option I see other than get additional holiday visas for 90 days

If you get legally married while she’s student in Ireland she will get a Stamp 4, just book an appointment at your local Garda National Immigration Bureau Registration office with the following documentation:

- Your original marriage certificate
- Your original Irish passport
- Your Brazilian spouse’s original passport
- Evidence of your joint address

She will go from student visa to Stamp 4. I thought you said the plan was to get married while she’s studying here?

But anyways Brazilians are non-visa required nationals to Ireland so once you’re legally married here it doesn’t matter if she’s on a visitors or a student visa.

Sorry yes student visa is 1 option
But also thinking of few holiday visa she get 90 days combined im not living in city so getting a school close might be hard

So if we got married in future she came back to Ireland on holiday visa she can get stamp 4 to remain?

So you can't get married in Ireland just like that, you will need to give the State 3 months notice of intention to marry and attend an interview. It will be up to the registrar (interviewer) to assess your case and decide if this is a "bona fide" marriage or not.

Ultimately the registrar will be issuing a marriage license or not, the decision is final and can't be appealed.

If you decide to apply for a marriage license she will need to leave the country and comeback again for the wedding date approximately 3 months (90 days) after the interview, highly likely that her holiday visa will expire while waiting for the wedding date and she can't overstay her visa.

I am wondering because I met my husband (Brazilian national) while he was on a stamp 2 due to his English course. We decided to get married towards the end of his visa and could marry in Denmark, as in Ireland was impossible due to our circumstances. As I am not Irish, but still from EU, my husband applied via the EU1 route. We fulfilled all the legal requirements, so he got his temporary stamp 4, but they still asked for evidence of the relationship due to the fact we did not marry in Ireland.
